Chamber Band Legacy Endowment Fund

The purpose of this endowment, is to provide opportunities for funds to purchase instruments for drum line and band, additional staffing for drum line and enrichment for students who show interest and potential. Additional purposes include study opportunities, private percussion lessons, college scholarships, band trip scholarships and uniforms.

Applicant Eligibility & TERMS

Who May Apply: White Bear Lake Area School District Band staff members.

Award Range: Applications will be reviewed on a continual basis throughout the school year. Projects will be funded for twelve months. After twelve months, any unexpended funds will revert back to the White Bear Lake Area Educational Foundation.

Selection Process: The White Bear Lake Area Educational Foundation’s Executive Board will review the Chamber Band Legacy Endowment Fund applications and make recommendations to the WBLAEF Board of Directors for approval.

Evaluation: Chamber Band Legacy Endowment Fund recipients agree, within two months of completion of their project, to provide the WBLAEF Board of Directors with a report outlining and evaluating the experience. The evaluation may be submitted as a written summary or given as a presentation to the WBLAEF Board of Directors. CLICK HERE to submit the evaluation.

The Foundation does not fund teacher/clerical stipends, curriculum writing, or bus fares.

GRANT AGREEMENT

When submitting this grant application, I give permission for my name and/or district issued photo to be used by the WBLAEF for communication and marketing related projects, should I receive the grant. I will contact the Foundation separately if I do not wish to have my name and/or photo used.
